This journal came out quite nicely if I may say so myself. this was an attempt at bead weaving. Not many beads involved ... I tried to make it easy on myself. The weaving was done on a simple handmade loom made with a piece of scrap timber and some nails to wrap the threads around. The completed piece was placed over dark fabric that is the same color as the main warp threads ... they don't show up in the picture. Getting all the beads to stay in position with the patterns all matching was a bit tricky.
