Handmade OAK Journal with crochet, couching, handmade beads & french knots.

The front cover of this journal has a panel of rag crochet in shades of cream, off-white, pale yellow, red. orange, very pale gray and maroon.  I added some painted wood beads which are red with yellow and orange patterns on them, some cream couching stitches, and some maroon french knots to finish off the design..  I also finished off the binding cords with handmade beads, cream painted wood beads and some more of the red painted pattern wood beads.


This journal has a sort of old vintage look to it.  I think it's because of the touches of pale gray and flecks of black.  The spine cords are crossed at the back.
