Handmade journal stitched on thick cotton cords. The covers were cut from plywood and stained with a liming white finish so you can still see the wood grain through the off-white finish. the button is cut from MDF and is attached with a single wood bead. It was sponge painted to match the covers. The new fabric that covers the padded front panel is an off-cut that I got at an op-shop. It is heavy cotton fabric which was probably originally used for upholstery or curtains.
This item is for sale in my eBay store.
