This OAK handmade journal has a panel on the front cover made from upolstery fabric that I add french knot embroidery stitches to outline the different colors and texture sections of the fabric. The covers are cut from plywood and are stained a very pale liming white green color so the wood grains still show through. The binding cords are thich off-white cotton twine.
